IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ. The following Contains important information about our holidays, which you should read before booking. This information forms the basis of a binding holiday agreement. We hope you will find it informative and easy to understand. We want you to be fully informed of your rights and obligations and shall be pleased to answer any questions you may have. Please print a copy. OFFICE HOURS 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. There will be no contract between ALTOGOLD TRAVEL, "Sun-TreK Holiday Homes", "ASwiss holiday" and its associated trading names now deemed as ALTOGOLD Ltd. The person signing the booking form, hereafter called the client, until the booking has been confirmed in writing by ALTOGOLD Ltd. The client expressly warrants that they are over 19 years of age, have the authority of all persons detailed on the booking form to accept the conditions on their behalf. The client will indemnify ALTOGOLD Ltd. /Agents against all losses and/or damage whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from any act or default of the client or anyone accompanying them. ALTOGOLD Ltd. shall not be liable to the clients or any member of his/her party for any loss, damages injury, delay or detention to persons or property, which arises from companies who provide transport and facilities out side of ALTOGOLD Ltd. companies. Any liability on the part of ALTOGOLD Ltd./Agents shall be limited to the amount paid for the holiday by the client concerned. ALTOGOLD Ltd./Agents will normally use their best endeavourer to meet the requirements of clients but they reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking or alter at any time arrangements owing to unforeseen circumstances and in such cases that the client will be entitled to such a refund (not exceeding the full amount the paid for the holiday) as considered equitable. RESERVATIONS: Please contact us by Email /Online or Telephone to confirm availability and discuss your requirements, through us or selected Travel Agents. Provisional bookings can be made On-line or Direct. Provisional Bookings will be held for NOT LONGER THAN 5 days, conditions apply. All Online request/ bookings receive an automated responce, Please check these details carefully immediately. MAKING OR COMPLETING BOOKINGS. The client making the booking must be at least 19 years old and authorised to do so by all member of the party. Note reservation of 4 nights or less compulsary to hire linen (if you do not book this it WILL be added to your account). PROVISIONAL BOOKING ON-LINE. Complete ALL required fields. Select "MAKE PROVISIONAL". After making a provisional booking ALTOGOLD Ltd requires an additional Email response confirming your provisional email was made by the client within 24 hours. Failure to respond to confirmation email Altogold will automatically annul the provisional reservation. Deposits are within 5 working days. After 5 days Altogold Ltd reserve the right to re offer your holiday dates to the general public after 5 days. BOOKING ON-LINE. Complete ALL required fields. Select "BOOKING". Payment by Credit cards accepted ( ALL card Payments will have 2% Booking fee applied), To make payment by other mean i.e Cheque, Bank draft etc Click Provisional Booking and follow the procedures as instructed. BOOKING DIRECT. Requires a completed booking form (also available on line) and Cheque for the appropriate deposits made to ALTOGOLD Ltd as per the current conditions. You will receive a written booking confirmation by post or Email, which gives details of your travel, accommodation and payment furtherarrangements. Please check this carefully to ensure that the reservation has been made in accordance with your requirements. We reserve the right to make a charge per alteration once your booking is accepted. CHILDREN: After their 18th birthday will be deemed to be ADULTS (12th Birthday for Hotels) and priced accordingly. When reserving Apartments ALL children will be deemed as an ADULT (unless sharing the same part of the accommodation). HOLIDAY BOOKING DEPOSITS. Holiday deposits of £60:00 per week is required.Holidays of part Weeks 1-6days, a deposit of £10 per day is required. (mininmuim of £30:00 deposit for 3 days). In the unlikely event of a cancellation, all the Holiday deposit will be retained by Altogold as per cancellation conditions. Where an online booking is made and paid in part or full, the Deposit is included in the holiday deposit figure. BOOKED ACCOMMODATION. While every effort is made to ensure you remain in the same Accommodation, on occasions you may be required to change Holiday homes to complete your holiday duration. We offer a "fixed accommodation" service to ensure your remain in the same holiday home for the entire duration at a small charge, Please ask about this at the time of booking (Enter FIXED PLEASE in the notes box). PAYMENTS: BOOKED ONLINE. Payments are made as Deposit/Full payment at the time of your booking with any additional services/ charges applied. BOOKED DIRECT. Deposit paid in respect of each holiday are accepted as a first instalment of the charge. (See note A) The receipt or banking of monies or the making of provisional reservations does not imply final acceptance of the booking; neither is a verbal quotation confirmation of final cost. The balance of the holiday is due not later than eight weeks before the date of departure. Within the 8-week period require payment in full. If the balance remains unpaid after this date we reserve the right to cancel your booking, retain the deposit and levy the cancellation charges shown. The Damage deposit where applicable will be returned on completion of your holiday, and when your accommodation is left clean & undamaged, (You must return the Key / credit note/voucher to reception before departure, Some location may require a separate deposits on arrival). Bookings can only be accepted as firm on receipt of written confirmation by Altogold Ltd. NOTE A: Payment for pre-booked special requirements must be paid in full at the time of reservation (non-refundable). Payments made in other currencies are priced as per current price list + 5% on the Gross price. All Apartments/Hotels & Site reservations require 30% deposit (non-refundable) at time of booking and must be received within 5 working days from the date of your reservation being made. LATE BOOKING: Late bookings - last minute reservations made where no monies are received and pay on arrival. NOTE failure to arrive on the specified date (without giving notice) we reserve the right to re sell your holiday. E.g. Arrival time from 1530hrs -after 2200 we will assume late arrive. 1000hrs the following day with no further contact we will consider a NO SHOW BOOKING and will be offered for resale. CREDIT/ DEBIT CARD: Payment will be subject to a booking fee of (2%, which will be added to your holiday cost at the time of booking. Payment over the phone to Altogold Ltd will incur additional handling fee of £5 per transaction. Please read the credit card conditions carefully during your on-line transaction. GROUP BOOKINGS: Please note that we cannot accept bookings from single sex groups or groups of people under 25 years old. (3 or more of the same sex) BANK PAYMENTS: To Altogold Ltd. must be free of any bank charges. REDUCTIONS / DISCOUNTS are made in good faith, but may not be used in conjunction with any other offers / reductions unless stated otherwise. Please ensure you ask for offers at the time of enquiry / booking, as these cannot be applied retrospectively. Only one offer/discount per booking. We reserve the rights to offer our holidays at lower than the advertised rates with out prior notice.SAVER DEALS: Spring Saver - Minimum holiday stay 7 nights to recieve 3 free nights, 3 weeks for the price of 2 weeks, a minimum price after all discounts is £18 per night. Half Price Second Holiday, applies to your second holiday in the same year, the lowest priced holiday recieving the discount on accommodation only. Over 60's will require to prove over sixty or pay the full holiday price before entry. Two families can recieve discount only when two holiday accommodations are booked for the same dates. Grand parent who share thier family accomodation then no charge is made. All offer are only applicable when there are at least two, fully paying adults in your party. Loyalty bonus. Past Holidays must be not more that four years apart. Saver deal general notes, Minimum stay is seven nights to recieve any special saver deal discounts. Three night Specials are fixed dates including Linen, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other holiday with Altogold Ltd. Any extras and travel supplements will be paid at full brochure price. These offers cannot be combined with any other offer. Offers are available on selected dates only. We reserve the right to change the available accomodation without notice. EARLY BOOKING OFFER: Bookings for the next year on which the deposit is received before October 31st of each year will be at the current Independent prices less 5%. INTERNET: Savings only apply to bookings completed entirely on the Internet. Abuse of saving offers will be corrected by Altogold and current alteration charges applied, before releasing of new invoice without notice. SPECIAL REQUESTS: If you have any special requests or requirements concerning your holiday, we will endeavour to meet these if notified at the time of booking or by telephone/ Email subsequently. If you are holidaying with another party and wish to be sited together, please ensure the booking form gives these details. We do not accepted tents or any other additions between the holiday units. SITE BOOKING SERVICE: For those wishing to take their own caravan or Tent we operate a site booking service. You will be asked to pay 30% of the reserved fee. Please ask for a Quote. ACTIVE / SPORT HOLIDAYS: All clients taking part in active/ sports do so at their own risk. While every effort is made to ensure safety ALTOGOLD Ltd accept no liability for you during such sports and you do so entirely at your discretion. Cancellations of the Activities by our associates or us will be refunded in full, Should you cancel we will ask for a signed letter from the participating company acknowledging cancellation and MUST be obtain by you before your return to your country of residence. Your Insurance must cover your chosen activities and any illness. BOOKING RECEIPT: The client is responsible to check their booking receipt/invoice & notify ALTOGOLD Ltd. of any discrepancies within 7 days of the dated document. Charges may be incurred after that date. BROCHURE/WEB DESCRIPTIONS: Are prepared in good faith and have been checked to ensure that they are accurate. However, between brochure publication and your holiday, there may be occasions when advertised facilities are withdrawn or descriptions become inaccurate without notice. All Diagrams and layouts are for guide only and not to scale. During photography some props are used and NOT included. Some facilities and attractions are seasonal and may not be available during your holiday period. All photos and web formate are protected by copy rights. Please ask if in doubt about any details given CHECK IN (Manor Farm Switzerland): Accommodation is available from 3.30pm (1530hrs) on the arrival day. After 9.00pm (2100hrs) Instructions will be left Outside the Reception with you name on. No arrivals are permitted. On site after 10.00pm (2200hrs) Camp barriers (Where applicable) are down. A cash deposit will be required for the key or a Key voucher. You will be shown to your selected holiday accommodation by our managers. If you have any concerns about your accommodation please notify your managers immediately. DEPARTURE (Manor Farm Switzerland): is 10am (1000hrs) on your departure day. Cleaning of your holiday home (Apartments and hotels cleaning included in your price) before departure. It is your responsibility to leave your accommodation as you found it, We (Altogold Ltd) reserve the right to withhold your cleaning/damage deposits. Cleaning materials are free to those who ask. Do not forget to exchange your key on departure. CHECK IN / Out (Apartment and Hotels): Accommodation is available from 3.30pm (1530hrs) on the arrival day. If you have any concerns about your accommodation please notify the managers immediately. Departure time is 10am (1000hrs) on your departure day. ACCOMMODATION: All accommodation is, Non-smoking within. Typical layouts and occupancy figures are given as a guide only. Please select the size of your holiday home to suit your particular lifestyle. It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit and able to use your chosen accommodation in the way it was designed for use. 400w electric power is allowed for of personal use within your selected accommodation. At no stage exceed this allowance without prior written agreement. Static holiday homes (mobile Homes) and Apartments are Self-catering, Parking provision is available alongside or nearby the holiday accommodation for one car only (not more than 5m long). Parking supplements will apply for additional parking / Trailers. Notification in writing for confirmation of additional parking must be sought before your holiday commences. FAMILY DEFINITION: 2 adults and up to 3 children under 18 years of age (e.g. 17+ not 18+) BED LINEN: It is obligatory, you MUST either bring your own linen or hire bed linen. This is available from our on site managers. reservations of 4 nights or less it is compulsory to hire linen. Failure to use your own bed linen or the hired linen could result in your damage/cleaning deposit being stopped. SAFETY: Please note, it is the requirements and standards of the country in which any services which make up your holiday are provided which apply to those services and not those of the UK/Republic of Ireland. As a general rule, these requirements and standards will not be the same as the UK/Republic of Ireland and may sometimes be lower. The client should therefore take all reasonable precautions to protect yourself and your party whilst on holiday. In particular you should familiarise yourself with fire procedures, swimming pool areas and any unfamiliar cooking appliances. You should also familiarise yourselves with any safety notices in the accomodation and on site and ensure that you comply with all specifications for their use. Altogold Ltd will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage which occurs as a result of your failure to comply with this condition. CLIENT BEHAVIOUR: When booking with Altogold Ltd, the Client accepts responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid direct at the time to the site owner or manager or other supplier. Failure to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made against us (together with our own and the other party's full legal costs) as a result of your actions. We expect all clients to have consideration for other people. If in Altogold Ltd reasonable opinion or in the reasonable opinion of any other person in authority, you or any member of your party behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to any third party or damage to property, we are entitled, without prior notice, to terminate the holiday of the Client / Clients concerned. In this situation, the clients concerned will be required to leave the site or other service. We will have no further responsibility toward such Clients including any return travel arrangements. No refunds will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination. SERVICES / SUPPLIERS: All services and supplies are the responsibility of the Land/Resident Owners, Altogold Ltd cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen breaks in these services. All clients are contractually obliged to abide by national, local & site / agents regulations/laws, although we have no control over their enforcement. We do not accept any liability for any circumstance beyond our control. Any cost by the client incurred to Altogold Ltd will be recovered at the clients cost. PASSPORTS: are essential when you travel abroad. ALL Passengers must be in possession of valid Passports (Children included unless o your 10 year passport). Apply for a new passport at least eight weeks before departure. Certain Commonwealth and foreign Passport holders may require a visa and should make embassy enquiries. Switzerland joined the Schengen Agreement and Non EC clients MUST ensure they have ALL paper work in order before entry. It is the responsibility of all clients to ensure they comply with all immigration requirements for all the countries to be visited.
DRIVING ABROAD: Driving regulations vary throughout Europe. It is your responsibility to comply with these regulations. Remember you must be at least 21 years of age to hire a car & require ALL your current valid documents. CROSS CHANNEL: We Strongly recommend that clients arrive at selected port /operator, at their pre booked time. Early or Late arrivals at port may incur additional charges by the operators to travel.(This lies solely with the Client). Amendments to cross channel once booked will incur £40:00 charge. Cancellation of your cross channel Up to eight weeks before your travel; date only amendment fees apply. Cancellation within eight weeks of your travel date will incur Full loss charge. (On top of any holiday cancellation fees you may incur) after 36 hours grace at the time of booking. Cross channel definitions. Vehicle:- Car = Maximum 5m Long, 1.85m High. Cars exceeding this height, E.g People carriers, Roof boxes or any other reasons MUST declare at the time of Booking. The Operator reserves the right to Cancel your travel or make additional charges as per their current rules & regulations. Fuel Supplements. Altogold reserves the right to charge any additional charges levied by our operators and not more. This will be in addition to the original fare. This supplement may be collected on departure. TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS: Whilst we shall be delighted to make Rail and Cross-channel arrangements, we do not make Air reservations. These are available through your local Travel Agent. Please ask for a Quote TRAVEL TICKETS: Altogold can supply various travel reduction tickets, available before departure or on arrival. Tickets purchased and issued before departure (except where Vouchers are in place) are NON refundable. VOUCHER TICKETS are collected on arrival from your selected holiday location collection point. Once the ticket is issued there is no refund should you decide not to exchange the voucher on location. Return the Voucher to Altogold Ltd for a full refund. (Better than Travel insurance?). VOUCHERS Issued by Altogold ltd carry no financial value, Can only be redeemed for the selected items. HOLIDAY SECURITY It's reassuring to know that when you entrust us to organize your holiday you will be in safe and caring hands. For your complete financial protection every Package Holiday comes under the EC package directive UK Trading Standards Office requirement. All monies paid for 'Package' Holidays are placed in Special "Trustaccount", until such time your holiday is completed. This arrangements mean the cost of your holiday will be refunded or you will be brought back to the UK (if your contracted holiday arrangements include return travel to the UK) if already abroad in the unlikely event that your holiday cannot be provided due to our insolvency. CANCELLATION / LATE ARRIVALS: (STOP OVERS) Should you be arriving "Late" (after 8pm) you MUST contact your accommodation and inform them of your late arrival, The accommodation contact numbers are on the voucher / booking form. Failure could result in the re-sale of the accommodation as a NO SHOW reservation. No show client who fails to turn up for any booked accommodation there is no-refund. CANCELLATION/ REFUND: Should it be necessary to cancel or move your holiday, YOU MUST notify us in writing. We shall retain the holiday deposit and in addition the following charges up to the maximum: - up to 8 weeks - Loss of deposit. +10%. Eight to Five weeks - 70% of holiday price. Within Five weeks - 100% of holiday price.
ALTERATION / CANCELLATION: We reserve the right to make a £30:00 charge for each amendment required to on the reservations. Please note " Credit card Refunds" may incur additional £30:00 charges to implement COMPLAINTS: If you have a complaint during your holiday, you must notify the Manager or Reception on that day. Though every effort is made during booking of agent/ owners accommodation any discrepancies lie solely with the accommodation /Agent/ owners, and not with "ALTOGOLD Ltd." Please ensure your details are correct at time of booking. Should your complaint still remain unresolved on location Contact your supplier or our head office +44 (0)1903743193. Please complete the complaint form available from the reception on location. You should ensure the Manager on location have a copy and submit your form to us together with a covering letter within 28 days of your return from your holiday. Should you fail to follow this simple complaints procedure, your right to claim anycompensation you may otherwise have been entitled to could be affected or even lost as a result. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ANIMALS. INSURANCE, IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is the Client's responsibility to ensure they are adequately covered for their holiday. We are happy to recommend Gold Cover Insurances as our preferred supplier of travel Insurance. The Gold cover brand has been providing quality travel insurance for over 30 years. They have a range of traditional single trip and annual trip policies to suit most needs and can also provide cover for Coach, Motorcycle and activity holidays. Many pre-existing medical conditions can be covered, including some conditions that most others insurers will refuse. If you are taking your vehicle on holiday they can also provide European Motoring Breakdown Assistance with roadside assistance and other cover to stop your holiday being ruined.
