All items for hire should be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Please note all electric system have limits and too many appliances being used at any one time may over load the system thus forcing a shut down.
Please remember if you wish a preferred location book early, or someone else could be sitting in you dream location.

Dear Guests

From 2026 Trudi and Kelvin (The owners of Altogold Ltd) after 57 years offering holidays to you all, are sadly having to retire from offering good value holidays on Camping Manor Farm.

Our love of the region and Switzerland while still there.

In the company’s 57 years of happy times, we have seen so much, the last 10 years the scenery has been gradually changing, losing its true Swiss chocolate box character and value. Swiss have changed from appreciating our support to really a “we don’t need you now”. Over last six – seven years this has become more apparent with obstacles being placed. Having sold on to the campsite Manor Farm as our only option open. We are tired of playing football with floating Swiss goal posts!

We have been very privileged to meet so many lovely people just like yourselves, visit some wonderful parts in Switzerland. We have met and watched so many lovely families come and go to the point of 3rd generations of children coming to stay. Our commitment to helping with charitable offers to so many families less fortunate than us enjoy the time they have. All of which we hope bought happiness and memories that last a lifetime and beyond. As Many of you know our goals were people’s enjoyment and not profits, sadly this may not happen in the future.

Please accept our apologies for not being able to help you continue your lovely experiences.

On the futures side we heavily invested into Spain for holidays now and from 2026 can offer Villa and apartment holidays, in our newly refurbished homes.

Now you can have your breakfast at the local BISTRO ALPINBLICK

A short walk to the Bistro Alpinblick and relax while others prepare your Breakfast (Fruhstuck).

Choose from their selection of Coffee – Tea – Ovo - Orange juice.

Croissant – Cheese – egg – Cold meat - butter and jam. Selection of Muesli or Yogurt.
