As the train ascends the tress give way to beautiful views of the Lakes and the lower valleys, approaching the halfway station, the streamer need a drink so while you waiting the steam water tanks are toped up. (There is a lovely coffee snack stop here and beautiful walks). Of again into the alpine valleys this time the lake will disapear and a large valley for you to look up to you destination the "Kulm". This valley offers eagles, Marmots and of course if you're lucky Chamois and Ibex, not least the many alpine flowers through the seasons.
